I want to pursue a new life philosophy: Disciplined Degeneracy (DD).
Modern life has a contrast: people who are disciplined and people who are degenerates.
Degenerates chase pleasure, live fast, party hard, and drink alcohol. They are typically extroverted, radiate social energy, and sleep late.
Disciplined people have healthy habits, like waking up early, eating clean, lifting weights, and going to sleep on time. They tend to be introverted, study hard, and stay inside.
These are presented as opposites. Either you’re the responsible type, or you’re the exciting one.
I want to merge the good parts of both extremes, by maximizing both of them at the same time.
The Core Idea
DD is about embracing fun and sexual passion while also maximizing your healthy habits.
On the one hand, a full life:
- Excitement, fun, passion, adventure
- Sexual chemistry, intimacy, romance, sensuality
- Energy, vibes, chemistry
On the other hand:
- Self-improvement, personal growth
- Discipline, self-control, good habits, self-respect
- Health, diet, exercise, anti-aging
- Without self-destruction, like alcohol, late nights, junk food, or nightlife
Rejecting Degenerate Culture
Originally, the idea of DD came from observing that in adult social life, alcohol and drinking are everywhere. It’s treated as the default way to connect, relax, or have fun.
But I never liked it.
I always felt it dulls your senses and disrupts sleep and health. I wondered if that made me boring or out of touch.
But I don’t think so anymore. I want to seek better ways to create connection and fun.
It also came from scrolling dating app profiles and seeing archetypes of the degenerate girl. The modern idea of “living freely” is primarily done by people who are degenerate and trashy.
- They were unhealthy and addicted.
- They look just ugly and unpleasant.
- They drink, smoke, or vape constantly.
- They’re immersed in retarded leftist politics, like anti-capitalism and social justice.
Why couldn’t we merge being super hot and super healthy?
Couldn’t there be girls who dress nicely for the male gaze, but don’t have the negative traits of partying, alcohol, and being vain?
Living Practically
Here are some key points I want:
- Food should maximize health and also taste great. No bland health meals that feel like a chore. High quality whole food ingredients. Herbs, spices, lemon, sauces. Dark chocolate or fruit instead of heavy desserts.
- Intimacy should be full of sexual energy. Intense, rough, loud, sexy, wild, mutual pleasure. Play and experimentation. Conscious spiritual connection. Aftercare, cuddling. Clean sheets, music, physical presence. Enjoying the entire experience.
- Sleep should be priority. Early nights. No screens. No stimulants. Deep rest that repairs your body and gives focus. Early mornings with mental energy and movement.
- Your girlfriend should build you up. Pushing each other for self-improvement. Both people want to be their best self.
My Vision
The ultimate goal of this philosophy is to maximize every part of life: both short-term and long-term.
It’s part of why I call this blog “Max Life Mindset”.
I’m not sure if this is the best way to live, or even if these two ideas can coexist.
But let’s try. That’s the kind of life I want to build.
